When you are in Las Vegas, it is not necessary to take expensive cabs to get around, as public transport is adequate and available. Whether you arrive by bus or by airplane, there is an equivalent bus ride you can take to (at least close to) your destination.

This bus terminal is near the McCarran Airport, near the corner of E Sunset Rd and Gilespie Sreet so it is quite convenient to take a short drive from the airport from the airport to Megabus terminal (although it might be odd to imagine leaving Las Vegas by bus just as you arrived at the airport).

Arriving in Las Vegas McCarran Airport

When you arrive in Las Vegas through the McCarran Airport, there is a bus that serves at least a portion of The Vegas Strip called the Westcliff Airport Express. It is cheap at $2 per passenger (you can take Passes for 2-hour, 24-hour and 3-day unlimited rides on RTC buses) and eco-friendly as it runs on natural gas. The entire duration from the airport to the last stop at Suncoast is approximately an hour so you get a rough idea how long it takes to reach your destination.

Note: This bus only travels once an hour so take note of the time of departure to be sure you catch the next scheduled bus departure.
